Well Done in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

At the beginning of August we reserved a table for August 14th and came specially from Munich to find out that it was completely closed. The restaurant and hotel management did not consider a rejection necessary

The Well Done is probably the best steak house in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. If you really like a T-Bone , you should order it because it comes with a show. Just order it and you'll see what I mean. The meat is always cooked perfectly to the way you like it. The sides are amazing. The staff is extremely friendly, speak several languages and very helpful.

Great food - great service: Well Done opens on only 2 days a week, which is not a disadvantage as the meat is delivered fresh weekly by the local butcher. Nevertheless, a reservation is recommended. The quality of the food was great, the portions large. Price / offer: Very good. To mention is still the very good service. Specialized staff with clear recommendations. Clear recommendation!

Hammer Steaks !!!!

I'll start this way: the waiter really tried hard. The rest was a total disaster. I went to eat here with my girlfriend. She had a 200g fillet i the 500g T-bone steak plus side dishes. Both should be served in medium. Steaks came nicely trapped on a wooden board. The fillet, i.e. the tenderloin, of the steak had exceeded its cooking point for miles and was therefore only gray. The rest was almost raw. The same game with the fillet. In addition, we were well away from 500g if you use the 200g fillet as a benchmark. The waiter took everything and commented: yes, I wouldn't eat that either, we'll come up with something. As compensation I got 100g Wagyue steak. An honest thank you at this point. Unfortunately, that was also very badly grilled. When asked the waiter that with such prices and calling yourself a steak house, you should rather change chefs came from him: yes, if you do that as a job, then there are days when you don't feel like it, but usually does he is doing just fine. What ?? We wanted to pay then. Waiter demands € 93 without ever having brought the bill. We paid and never come back. Clear recommendation: lock the shop, look for a new tenant.

Haven’t found a good steakhouse since moving to Germany. On vacation in Garmisch and happened upon this place. Didn’t know until after that they are only open two nights a week. We were seated immediately. Filet steaks were fantastic. Side salads are some of the tastiest I’ve had. Great place. Highly recommend.

There are better and cheaper wines. Unfortunately no dishes for children, so only 4 stars. Usually only open Friday and Saturday. At Pentecost 2018 probably also Sunday and Monday. Catastrophic service and underground food. After over an hour of waiting, charred steaks and cold potatoes came.

Perfect restaurant, top quality meat. It is important to reserve in advance by phone. Unfortunately only open on Friday and Saturday. Friendly staff, dishes are worth their price 10x

World class tender beef !! absolute top service and unique meat taste. Wine very noble and the side dishes super delicious. All in all, absolutely recommendable !!
